Structured Light 3D Scanning – Layman’s terms = You –> 3D

Ever wanted to see what you look like in 3D? Well look in a mirror, but if you want to create a 3D model of yourself it’s really quite simple and will only take an hour or so if you have the kit already. It’s easy, stylish, geeky, fun and innovative.

What you need-

• Camera
• Tri-pod
• Projector
• Computer
• You!

So where to start -

1. Grab yourself ThreePhase in whatever flavour of OS you have!
2. Open the patterns folder and rotate the images 90 degrees clockwise
3. Staying still throughout the process you need to project each of the three patterns onto your subject and take a photo
4. Crop and replace the pictures in the img folder
5. Run ThreePhase
6. Done!

Now you may need to tweak around the settings in ThreePhase to make it look correct but experiment and have fun!
